Yes. Rested is proudly Australian and we are based in Sydney
Who are your products for?
Rested is made for anyone who wants calmer nights and brighter mornings. Parents, babies, toddlers, teens and adults all use our products to create rituals to improve wellbeing.
Are your products safe for children?
Yes. Our sleep machines and skincare formulas are created with families in mind. We always recommend supervising young children and checking ingredient lists if your child has sensitivities.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We pack and ship quickly from our Sydney warehouse. Most orders ordered before 1pm leave the very same business day and arrive within two to five business days depending on your location. Express shipping is also available.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship across Australia with international shipping coming soon.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order has not yet been packed, our team can usually update or cancel it. Contact us as soon as possible and we will help you.
What is your return policy?
For white noise machines, you can return your device within 100 nights for a full refund of the purchase price minus shipping fees. Machines must be in their original condition with all accessories.
For skincare products and our silk masks, we follow Australian Consumer Law, which means our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
If any of these products are faulty, unsafe, damaged, or not as described, you’re entitled to a refund or replacement.

What is the difference between the Sounds and Stories Machine and the Mini?
Both devices play white noise, nature sounds and Rested bedtime stories. The full sized Sounds and Stories Machine has a larger speaker, longer battery life and more sound options. The Mini is compact, portable and perfect for prams, car seats and travel.
Are the stories included or do I need a subscription?
All Rested stories and sounds are included. No subscription and no ongoing fees. The sounds & stories are built into the devices, meaning an app is not required for use.
Is it safe to use these machines for babies?
Yes. Our devices are designed with families in mind. Keep the volume at a safe level and place the machine at least one to two metres away from your baby, following standard safe sleep guidelines.
Will white noise become a sleep crutch?
White noise helps reduce overstimulation and creates a familiar cue for rest. You can use it every night or phase it out gradually. Many families find it supports more consistent sleep without creating dependency.
Does it work for adults too?
Absolutely. Many adults use the machines for deeper sleep, meditation, reading time or to block out noise from work, neighbours or travel.
How long are the stories?
Each Rested story combines a background noise plus a narrated story that features an Australian or Global landmark. Each story last around 10-12 minutes before the background sound continues for an additional 20 minutes. Once the story finishes it will repeat, unless you set a timer to turn the device off
Can I travel with the Sounds and Stories Machine?
Yes. Both devices are portable. The Mini is especially useful for prams, flights, car trips and hotel rooms.
What is the warranty?
Every Rested sleep machine comes with a one year warranty that covers faults and manufacturing issues. If something is not working as it should, we are here to help.
What is the MagnaRest formula?
MagnaRest is our proprietary blend of topical magnesium and calming botanicals like lavender, bergamot, chamomile and ylang ylang. It is designed to create a consistent scent and sensory cue that helps the body unwind more easily at night.
Are the balm and wash safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Both formulas are gentle, nourishing and made without sulphates, PEGs, silicones or harsh detergents. If you have known sensitivities to botanicals, a patch test is recommended.
Can I use these products on my children?
Yes. The wash and balm are designed for family use, including young children. Always avoid use on broken or irritated skin and patch test if your child is reactive to essential oils.
It is recommended to avoid using essential oils on babies younger than 3 months old.
Can I use MagnaRest during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Many pregnant women choose to use the balm and wash because the formulas are gentle and plant based. Since they contain essential oils, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider first.
How long do the products last?
The 500 ml body wash lasts around one month for a family of four. The 50g balm lasts around six weeks for a family of four when used nightly.
How do I use MagnaRest as part of a sleep ritual?
Use the wash in the shower to create a calming scent cue, then apply the balm to wrists or temples as you slow your breathing. When repeated each night, this becomes a simple ritual that helps you and your family unwind.
